Step 1

Install the component using the Joomla Installer

Assign a main menu item, using the Menu Manager, to the componen

Step 2

Select Components -> Estate Agent Improved and visit the Estate Agent Control Panel

Step 3

Select Countries and Publish the countries you want from the list. ((If you coming from the previous version, the countries that you use will be published automatically)

Step 4

Select "Configuration" and make the settings you want, At least insert a google map key and a "MAP24 LID" (if you want to use that).

Step 5

Select Categories ->New and  Insert - publish the categories for your properties.

Step 6

Select "Types" and insert or Edit the existing types for your properties.

Step 7

Select Agents -> New and complete your contact details. Check the fields  Linked to user ="Your Joomla userName"  and the Category = "EstateAgents"

Step 8

Now Insert your properties.You must "Save" (or Apply) a property first and then you can insert pictures using the "Gallery"

How to update from previous version (1.5.x).

  • Backup your picutes( files) and your database.
  • Using the joomla uninstaller, uninstall the previous version of component. The images and the database will be maintained after this.
    if you had insert custom code into component files will be deleted. Also the existing menu items to component will  be removed.
  • Install the new component version.
  • Update the old modules - plugins files via FTP or by unistalling and re-installing them.
  • The new version contains new definitions into language file. Open the new English language file (front-end and back-end separately), and find new definitions at the top of the file. Copy the new definitions to your language files and translate them.
Do not update, simply replace the main component files via a FTP client.

Download From Subscription Section

If you want to direct download the "EA Improved Pro versions"
  • Login
  • Select "New Subscription" from top menu
  • Select "1 Year access to Subscription Section" and press the " Subscribe " button
  • When you return from PayPal you can direct download all files from "Subscription section "
